Firecrackers cause shots fired report in N.B.

What was reported as a gunshot in North Battleford, turned out to be a lot less threatening.

The Battlefords RCMP were called to the area of 107th and 108th St. in the 1000 block shortly before noon on Friday, July 29 after what was described as a gunshot was heard. Once on scene, a second loud bang sounded. The area was secured and it was determined the noises were firecrackers.
