Police find cash, drugs in luggage after passenger makes threat at Saskatoon airport

A Saskatoon man is in police custody after a disturbance at the city’s airport Friday morning.

The 51-year-old passenger was upset that his flight was not on time and made a reference to causing damage with explosives.

When police arrived, they found a significant amount of cash and some illicit drugs in his luggage.

The man has been charged with endangering the safety of an aircraft as well as possession of cocaine and methamphetamine.
