Battlefords RCMP seek man on assault with weapon charges

Battlefords RCMP are on the hunt after a home invasion and shooting. 

They were on the scene Friday, May 27 after responding to the call on 112 St. in North Battleford. 

A man was found in a residence with a single gunshot wound. He was transported to Saskatoon Royal University Hospital by STARS air ambulance. 

The gunshot wound was not fatal and he remains in stable condition. 

A brigade of police dogs and other investigative teams were engaged on the scene. The investigation is still ongoing.
