Suspect sought after Little Pine First Nation stabbing

Police are looking for a suspect after a man was stabbed at a gathering at the Little Pine First Nation.

Cut Knife RCMP say a 23-year-old man from the Poundmaker First Nation was stabbed several times during a gathering near 4 a.m. Saturday May 7. The victim was airlifted by STARS to a Saskatoon hospital where he is recovering. 

Nakota Rayne Pooyak of the Sweetgrass First Nation is wanted for aggravated assault. 

According to the RCMP, Pooyak is to be considered armed and dangerous, and not to be approached.
