Missing Maidstone woman may have been hitchhiking

Update: According to the RCMP Joanne Mitchell has been located

A woman who hasn’t been seen since the early morning hours of April 13 may have been trying to get to Saskatoon.

Maidstone RCMP are seeking the public’s help finding Joanne Mitchell, 32, as her family worries about her well-being. Mitchell was last seen around 2 a.m. Wednesday in Maidstone.

Police believe she left the town between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. and may have tried to get to Saskatoon by hitchhiking. She has family there.
