Road conditions hamper response after ATV rollover

Apr 7, 2016 | 9:07 AM

Poor road conditions made it difficult for emergency crews to reach a man who was injured after a side by side rolled over near Ruddell, east of the Battlefords.

On Saturday April, 2 EMS and Battlefords RCMP responded to the incident just before 7:00 p.m. According to police when first responders arrived they were unable to access the accident site with their vehicles due to the road being too washed out and muddy. STARS air ambulance was dispatched to transport the 38-year-old man to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon for treatment.

No charges will be laid.
