Vandalism causes fuel spill in North Battleford

A vandalism incident in North Battleford left crews with a lot of gasoline to clean up.

According to the North Battleford Fire Department at around noon on Wednesday, March 23, they were called to the 1400 block of 103 St., where two vehicles had their fuel tanks vandalized.

Around 120 litres of fuel is estimated to have leaked out and ended up on the ground, requiring fire crews, the public works department, as well as Grey Cat Oilfield Services to clean it up.

No word from police on whether any charges have been laid in relation to the incident.
