Store employee assaulted during robbery

An employee who tried to stop a robbery at a North Battleford convenience store was assaulted early Friday morning, according to RCMP.

Police say a male suspect stole some merchandise from the store shortly after 3 a.m., March 4. A worker who tried to stop the robbery ended up in the hospital with minor injuries.
