UPDATE: Woman, two kids dead in Langham crash

Three people, a 26-year-old female from Corman Park, a four-year-old male from Langham and a nine-year-old male also from Langham, are dead after a crash on Highway 16 near Langham.

The collision involving a truck carrying seven people and a semi happened at around 6:45 a.m. in the westbound lanes. Five ambulances responded to the scene along with STARS Air Ambulance. 

In addition to the three fatalities, three men and an 11 year old boy were sent to hospital with injures along with the driver of the semi.

Warman RCMP and an RCMP collision reconstructionist continue to investigate, but Highway 16 is now open
