In Loving Memory of Albert Barry Custer

Mr. Albert Barry Custer, beloved husband of Mrs. Betty Custer of Battleford, Saskatchewan, passed away at the Battlefords District Care Centre on October 5, 2026 at the age of 81.

Barry will be remembered and deeply missed by his devoted wife, Betty; his sister, Donna; and his loving children: Cory (Nancy) Custer, Michelle (Leonard) Spark, and Lynn (Kevin) Appelt.

He will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren: Cassie (Zak), Jennifer (Kallum), Lauryn, Brandon (Madison), Brenden, Eirynn (Jessie), and Steven; as well as his eleven great-grandchildren, who brought another generation of love and joy to his family.

Barry was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Catherine Custer, and his siblings: Harley (Nona), Connie (Arthur), Norma (Alvin), Beverly (Doug), and Betty (Lawrence).

A Celebration of Life for Albert “Barry” Custer will be held at the United Church in Battleford, Saskatchewan, on October 24, 2026, from 1p.m. to 4p.m. Following the service, Barry will be brought back home and laid to rest at the Baljennie Cemetery.

He will be remembered as a cowboy, a farmer and welder and a man who loved hunting and fishing and he will be missed by many.
