It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that the family of Ken Rebeyka announce his passing on September 19, 2026 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the age of 74 years.

Left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory is his beloved family; wife of 54 years, Anita Rebeyka of Speers, SK and their children; daughter, Carmen (Kent) McManus of Calgary, AB, and son, Clayton (Corinne) Rebeyka of Saskatoon, SK. Ken also leaves behind his beloved granddaughters, Mackenzie and Summer McManus as well as his brother, Bernie (Karie) Rebeyka and family, Shawn and his family, Seth, Joel and Noelle, as well, Jay (Kellie) and Kalla; his nephew, Mark (Brenda) Rebeyka and family, Kylie, Anthony (Maize) also Brad Prokopowich and family, Morgan, Mikhail and Deklan. Ken is fondly remembered by a host of treasured friends.

Ken was predeceased by his parents; John and Cecile Rebeyka, brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Deline Rebeyka and niece, Maureen Prokopowich.

Ken was born on November 25, 1951 in Hafford, SK and grew up in Speers, SK. He went to Springbank School until grade 6, then to Speers School until grade 10 and finished grades 11 and 12 in Mayfair.

Ken had a great love of sports, especially fastball and a love of the outdoors. He coached his son’s fastball and hockey teams. Over the years, he, himself played fastball with the Radisson, Speers and Krydor teams. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and cherished passing on his knowledge down to the younger generations. He was blessed with two granddaughters, who shared his passion for sports and would travel out of province to watch them play ringette. Harvest time was Ken’s favorite time of year and found peace driving his combine.  Ken sincerely loved his family and making memories with them. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.

Prayer Services for Ken will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 7:00 PM at Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church 1201-105 St North Battleford, SK with the Funeral Mass being held on Friday, September 25, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Notre Dame de Lourdes as well. In keeping with Ken’s wishes, cremation will take place following this service and Ken will be laid to rest at the St Mary’s Anglican Cemetery with Father Peter Paase presiding.

The family suggests, that if desired, a donation can be made in Ken’s memory to the Palliative Care Unit at the St. Pauls Hospital Foundation 1702 – 20 Street West, Saskatoon, SK S7M-0Z9.
