Shingoose, Emily Jean

With a heavy heart and deep sadness, the family of Emily Shingoose announce her passing on September 10, 2026 in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 35 years.

Left to mourn her loss and cherish all that she was is her loving family; son, Keilan Wuttunee, daughter, Gracie Cardinal and youngest son, Elijah Cardinal. She is also survived by her father, Noel Moosuk and step mother, Carrie Littlebear, sisters, Colleen Bear, Lisa Shingoose, Kendra Littlebear, Kyra Littlebear and Erica Littlebear. Her brothers, Rueben Bear, John George Bear, Bradley Moosuk and Alex Littlebear, her grandfather, Jean Shingoose and numerous other family and a host of friends.

Emily was predeceased by her loving mother, Pauline Shingoose, brothers, Neil Bear, Harley Bugler, and sister, Ashley Moosuk.

A wake service will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at the Red Pheasant Chief Kiskotagon Hall, Red Pheasant First Nation with Funeral Services held on Friday, September 18,2026 at 11:00 AM at the Red Pheasant Chief Glen Kiskotagan Hall. Emily will be laid to rest at the Old Catholic Cemetery in Red Pheasant First Nation, Saskatchewan following this service.
