IN LOVING MEMORY OF GILBERT WAYNE JENNER

We are saddened to announce the passing of Gilbert Wayne Jenner June 4, 2026 at the age of 89.  Wayne was born October 9, 1936 in North Battleford. Wayne is predeceased by his parents Carl and Eva Jenner, sister Faye Wright, daughter Kelly Faye Jenner and son in-law James Nachtegaele.

Wayne is survived by KELLY’S family Taylor Kemp (Dylan,Warren) Tannis Kemp (Alex) Calgary, daughter KAREN Nachtegaele (Logan, Cayla and Charlotte) North Battleford, son ROBERT Jenner (Kathy Lee) North Battleford (Christopher Red Deer, Amber (Adam) North Battleford, Brooklyn Regina).

Wayne grew up in North Battleford. He went to Alexander Elementary school and The Collegiate. He then went to University of Saskatchewan and received a Commerce Degree. The final job he worked at was as a Certified General Accountant. Wayne had a love for music from a very young age. He was a life long trumpet player but played multiple instruments in his later years. He was very talented and was known as “Wayne the Wonder Jenner.” He enjoyed lake life especially when his children and grandchildren were around. He was very proud of his grandchildren, and often bragged about them. In his later years he loved TV, especially sports and news while continuing to have an interest in music. Wayne will be deeply missed by his family and friends!

A big thank you to Dr. Campbell for the wonderful care you gave Wayne. Thank you to River Heights Lodge staff for making him comfortable and happy!

Donations can be made to Diabetes Canada, The Heart and Stroke Foundation, Cancer Society or Charity of donors choice in Lieu of flowers.

Celebration of Life will be held September 25 at Annette’s School of Dance Studio 2, 1401 – 98th Street North Battleford. 11:00 am to 12:45pm
