Mr. Edward Charles Scotton

Edward Charles Scotton passed away peacefully the morning of September 4th, 2026 surrounded physically and virtually by his family at Battleford Union Hospital.
Ed was predeceased by his father and mother, John“Jack” and Phyllis Scotton, his brother Leslie“Les” Scotton, his sister Joan Ricard and brother in law Lionel Ricard.
Ed is survived by his wife of 56 years, Peggy Scotton, his sister Kathy(John) Koelmans, sister-in-law, Karen Radchenko, his children Jonathan(Tanya Vandermolen) Scotton, Cynthia“Cindy”(Bill) Landrie, Dale(Jodi-Ann) Scotton, his grandchildren Jessica(Daryl) Kjargaard, Erica(Nathan) Boyko, Dalton(Daniela Hromis) Landrie, Lucas(Ashley) Landrie and Isabel Scotton along with the great grandchildren; Harper, Jacob, Blake, Carter, and Finley.
Ed was the eldest son of Phyllis and Jack Scotton; born on September 14th, 1946 in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. Ed lived in the Battlefords and surrounding area for the entirety of his life. It was here he met the love of his life, Peggy Dawson, and they were married April 25th, 1970 after which they then settled on the farm in Drummond Creek, Saskatchewan. There they had and raised three wonderful children and lived until 1992 when they moved into Battleford which is where they have resided since.
Celebration of life to be held Monday, September 7, 2026 at Western Development Museum – Heritage Hall at 1:00 p.m. with a small lunch to follow. Ed will be laid to rest Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at a private family ceremony.
