Unity man charged after fleeing Saskatoon traffic stop
A Unity man has been charged with impaired driving and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle after fleeing a traffic stop in Saskatoon.
On Aug. 21 at about 6:30 p.m., an RCMP officer with Combined Traffic Services Saskatchewan received a report of a motorist speeding on Circle Drive who was possibly impaired.
The officer initiated a traffic stop, but the vehicle fled before the officer could administer a mandatory alcohol screening test.
A short distance away, the officer located a collision involving the vehicle and another vehicle in the area of Circle Drive East and Idylwyld Drive North.
