Four charged after weapons seized during North Battleford traffic stop

Battlefords RCMP seized several weapons and arrested four people following a traffic stop in North Battleford earlier this week.

Officers stopped a vehicle on 100 Street at about 8 a.m. on July 7. They found several occupants were breaching court-ordered conditions. Three men and one woman, all from North Battleford, were arrested at the scene.

RCMP said the woman resisted arrest but was taken into custody without injury.

A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of a sawed-off firearm, bear spray, a knife and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
