It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Michael Sawarin, who passed away on June 8, 2026, at the age of 66.
Ken was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend whose humor, generosity, passion, and unwavering support touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He had a spirited nature and a remarkable ability to make people laugh, even during difficult times. Above all else, Ken loved his family and cherished every moment spent with them.
Ken was especially proud of the life he built with his wife, Christine, and of his children, Jesse and Cody. His greatest joy was being Papa to his beloved grandsons, Zeke and Sam, who brought endless happiness to his life. Whether sharing stories, spending time together, or taking them ice fishing, his love for his grandsons knew no bounds.
A hardworking and caring man, Ken founded Eaves Plus with the goal of helping his family, a reflection of the selfless and generous person he was. He was passionate about many things, including cheering on the Saskatchewan Roughriders, spending time fishing, and making memories with those he loved most.
Ken will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Christine; his daughter, Jesse (Coda); his son, Cody; his grandsons, Zeke and Sam; his mother, Vicki; his sisters, Delilah (Mark), Cheryl, Glenda (Moe), Nicki (Kerry); his brother, Randy; his brother-in-law, Rob (Elena); sister-in-law, Julie; and Mother-in-law Evelyn; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Nick Sawarin.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Battlefords Union Hospital, and Home Care for their compassion, care, and support during Ken’s illness.
Ken’s strength, laughter, generosity, and deep love for his family will never be forgotten. Though he is no longer with us, the memories he created, the lessons he shared, and the love he gave so freely will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him.
Forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered.
