North Battleford volleyball player prepares for third Canada Cup with Team Sask
For the third year in a row, North Battleford native and John Paul II Collegiate student Jadyn Bugg will hit the court with Team Saskatchewan at the Volleyball Canada Cup with the U17 team.
“It means a lot,” explained Bugg.
“Every single time, the experience is unmatched. Compared to clubs, the Canada Cup that we go to, all the teams, the competition. There’s so much energy in the building all the team. So, it means a lot to be one of the top athletes in Saskatchewan to be able to do this.”
While the Canada Cup is a familiar experience for Bugg, she is looking forward to facing heightened competition while playing with and against some new faces. She added there are some players she knows on the team from her club experience, which will make it a more positive tournament.
