North Stars to pick 10th in the 2026 SJHL Draft
The SJHL draft order has been determined and the Battlefords North Stars will hold the 10th overall pick.
While they retain their first-round selections for 2010- and 2011-born players, the North Stars do not have either of their second-round picks. Both were dealt to the Melville Millionaires last offseason in a trade that brought Raiden Zacharias to Battlefords.
The Humboldt Broncos currently hold the North Stars’ fourth-round pick, after acquiring it in a deal for defenceman Easton Adrian.
However, the North Stars later traded Adrian to the Nipawin Hawks in exchange for their fourth-round selection. As a result, the North Stars will not forfeit a fourth-round pick in the draft, instead holding Nipawin’s selection.
