‘You killed my son’: Fourth man sentenced in Sask. Pen death case
Rising from her chair in a crowded courtroom, a grieving mother looked directly at the man sitting behind the glass and waved her middle finger.
“You killed my son [expletive],” she shouted before leaving.
Dominick Cochrane, 46, one of six men charged in the death of Rocky Meechance at Saskatchewan Penitentiary, appeared Monday afternoon at Prince Albert Provincial Court and received a six-year sentence for manslaughter. A guilty plea was entered last July.
On Jan. 29, 2024, 29-year-old Meechance was injured at the prison and later declared deceased.
