LAST-MINUTE GAME 7 BUS

‘Let’s pack the bus’: North Stars billet family plans fan bus to Yorkton

Apr 14, 2026 | 11:28 AM

For a local North Stars billet family, game seven of playoffs in Yorkton could be the last chance to watch their billeted player.

That’s why they are making arrangements for a last-minute fan bus tomorrow night.

“These kids have given so much to our community all season long,” said Raeanne McIntyre, billet of #9 Gavin Granger. “A game seven is a huge moment as it’s ‘do or die’, so we want to be there to support them and give them that extra energy.”

If there is enough interest in the community to cover the costs of the bus, up to 52 fans will be able to attend.

“It would be $80 to $85 a person, depending on numbers. We need to confirm 45 people to make this a go. The more people past 45 will decrease the cost,” she said.

McIntyre explained how fans make a huge difference, especially during the playoffs.

“When players hear the support, especially in a big game like this, it gives them that extra boost. These players represent our community all season long, and this is our chance to show up for them.”

For more information or to claim a spot on the North Stars fan bus, contact McIntyre at 306-480-8642.

“Let’s pack the bus and bring our North Battleford energy to Yorkton to cheer on the team!”
