North Battleford crews contain apartment fire, water damage reported

The North Battleford Fire Department (NBFD) is conducting an investigation into the cause of a fire at an apartment building.  

On March 31, NBFD responded to a fire at a property located on the 1100 Block of 99th Street in North Battleford. Crews successfully confined the fire to a unit on the ninth floor, with no injuries reported.  

An unspecified degree of water damage has been observed by officials throughout the property due to the activation of the building’s fire suppression system.  

Assessment is ongoing as NBFD crews remain on scene. More information regarding the cause of the fire will be released upon completion of the investigation.
