Online campsite reservations for Sask. Parks begins April 13

Residents eager to secure a summer getaway in Saskatchewan’s provincial parks can begin booking campsites starting April 13.

The provincial government has released its 2026 reservation schedule, with seasonal campsites opening first, followed by nightly and specialty accommodations throughout the week.

“Our parks provide places to explore, unwind and create lifelong memories,” said Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Alana Ross. “As another summer approaches, we look forward to welcoming visitors back to experience unique trails, family programming, exciting events and nights around the campfire.”

Reservations open daily at 7 a.m. through the provincial booking system at Sask Parks. Visitors are advised to log in ahead of time, as a virtual queue will be in place. Users must refresh the page at 7 a.m. to enter the system.

The staggered schedule includes popular destinations such as Candle Lake, Meadow Lake Provincial Park, Buffalo Pound Provincial Park and Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park:

• Monday, April 13: All provincial parks offering seasonal campsites in 2026. 

Nightly, Camp-Easy yurt and group campsites as well as day-use facilities and swimming lessons: 

• Tuesday, April 14: Candle Lake, Good Spirit Lake, Lac La Ronge, Meadow Lake, Rowan’s Ravine, Saskatchewan Landing; 
• Wednesday, April 15: Blackstrap, Bronson Forest, Buffalo Pound, Duck Mountain, Moose Mountain, Porcupine Hills; 
• Thursday, April 16: Crooked Lake, Cypress Hills, Danielson, Great Blue Heron, Greenwater Lake, The Battlefords; and 
• Friday, April 17: Douglas, Echo Valley, Fort Carlton, Makwa Lake, Narrow Hills, Pike Lake. 

In addition to booking dates, the province is introducing a new accessibility initiative. A one-year pilot program will offer a 25 per cent discount on park entry permits for anyone with a valid accessible parking placard issued through SaskAbilities. The discount applies to daily, weekly and annual permits and must be redeemed in person at park entry gates.

Campers are encouraged to prepare in advance by creating or updating their online accounts, researching campsite options and planning their trips before reservations open.

Entry permits can be purchased online or upon arrival at provincial parks. More information on fees, booking details and planning tools is available through the Sask Parks website.
