RCMP seek suspects after attempted armed robbery in Paynton

Maidstone RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying suspects after an attempted armed robbery in Paynton.  

On March 4, around 4:50 p.m., RCMP received a report of an attempted armed robbery at a residence.  

Investigation determined a group of individuals approached the residence and threatened an occupant with a firearm before leaving in a maroon-colored truck. The victim did not report any physical injuries to RCMP. 

As a result of the investigation, 62-year-old Holly Gordon from Paynton has been charged pointing a firearm and robbery with a firearm. A warrant has been issued for her arrest, and RCMP is actively working to locate her. Gordon is described as 5’2″, with green eyes and brown hair. 

RCMP is working to identify the others involved, and are described as three women, and one man. The man is described as approximately 6’7″ with a thin build.  

The maroon truck, described as a mid-2010s Dodge model with a quad cab, was last seen near Table Mountain.
