Economic development update, blessing box proposal on North Battleford council agenda
North Battleford city council will receive an update on the city’s economic development efforts when it meets Monday evening, alongside a proposal to install a community “blessing box” food pantry outside the fire hall.
The fourth-quarter 2025 economic development report outlines ongoing work to attract investment, support business growth and strengthen North Battleford’s role as a regional service and retail hub.
The report highlights continued outreach to businesses, Indigenous organizations and regional partners, as well as consultations with local stakeholders aimed at improving alignment on economic priorities.
It also details work on marketing materials and sector research intended to support investment attraction and promote the city to potential businesses and investors.
