Bridge from Battleford to North Battleford to briefly close for house move

The bridge connecting Battleford to North Battleford will be temporarily closed late Monday morning to allow for the transport of a house across the span.

City and town personnel will work together during the move, which is expected to require a short shutdown of the bridge in the direction of travel from Battleford into North Battleford.

The closure is anticipated to take place just before lunchtime, with traffic expected to be halted for roughly 10 to 15 minutes, beginning around 11:40 a.m. and ending between approximately 11:50 and 11:55 a.m.

Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow extra time for travel during the brief disruption.
