UPDATE:

All is well again in the world of professional wrestling…

A WWE hall of fame ring stolen this week from a locked trailer in Lloydminster has been recovered and is being returned to its right owner.

The ring was brought to a pawn shop in Lloydminster and immediately raised a flag for the store owner who had seen social media posts about it and called police.

Harry Smith, the son of the late “British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith, was performing Thursday night in Prince Albert and was obviously very relieved.

CWE heads to Yorkton Friday night

The CWE tag team championship belt, Hart Foundation leather vest were recovered earlier this week.

A brazen theft occurred in Lloydminster Thursday morning.

A trailer, owned by the Canadian Wrestling’s Elite (CWE) wrestling company, was broken into. While the performers slept at the Central Suites Hotel on 50th Ave., the truck and accompanying trailer were left parked outside

A number of items were taken including a WWE Hall of Fame Ring owned by the “British Bulldog”, a CWE tag team championship belt, Hart Foundation leather vest, gold chain and jewelry.

RCMP are investigating.

CWE is scheduled to perform Wednesday night at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 63 in Saskatoon and will then travel to Prince Albert for a Thursday night show at Plaza 88.
