A Lloydminster man has been found guilty of sexual interference involving a 14-year-old girl following a trial in provincial court.

Tristan Lewis, 21, was convicted Tuesday in Lloydminster Provincial Court of sexual interference and two counts of failing to comply with a release order. The court confirmed a charge of sexual assault was stayed by the Crown.

Lloydminster RCMP received the original complaint June 26, 2025, regarding a sexual assault. The detachment’s General Investigation Section took carriage of the investigation, arrested Lewis and executed a search warrant at his home.

He was initially charged with sexual assault, sexual interference and three counts of failing to comply with a release order.
