‘You can end our suffering’: grieving daughter makes plea to mother’s killer to come forward
Seven years after the murder of her mother, Amanda Wolfe is still searching for closure.
The person or persons responsible for the death of Joanne Wolfe-Lafond on Jan. 13, 2019 at Muskeg Lake Cree Nation have not been found. The 56-year-old mother of two, was stabbed multiple times and found outside her home.
Investigators informed Amanda her mother struggled and she said she believes her mother attempted to go for help.
“It sounds like my mom because she wasn’t the type of person to just take anything. She was a fighter all her life. She was a residential school survivor,” she said.
