Restaurant owner running in North Battleford 2026 byelection
A candidate for the City of North Battleford’s upcoming byelection is looking forward to supporting the community and those in need if they are elected.
Mercy George has been a resident of the city since 2004 and has spent eight of those years as a business owner of Dejma’s Curry House.
George said she believes in supporting local businesses and revitalizing North Battleford’s downtown areas. Additionally, she wants to advocate for community safety through collaboration, prevention, accountability, and actions that best serve the city.
“If elected, I will work closely with the existing council to continue improving North Battleford, drawing on my experience as a long-term resident who has witnessed our community’s growth and remained actively involved,” George said in a statement sent to battlefordsNOW.
