RCMP drug investigation leads to seizure of cocaine, loaded firearm in North Battleford
Two men have been charged after Sask. RCMP located cocaine and a loaded firearm at a North Battleford residence.
On Dec. 19, Sask. RCMP’s North Battleford Crime Reduction Team-Gang Task Force and Critical Incident Response Team executed a search warrant for a residence on 102 Street as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.
Officers seized approximately 198 grams of suspected cocaine and crack cocaine which will be sent to Health Canada for further testing, a loaded sawed-off firearm, drug trafficking paraphernalia, and a sum of cash.
Seven people were arrested at the residence; five were later released without charge.
