It is with heavy hearts the family of Alice Pidwerbeski announces her passing on November 20, 2025 at the age of 101.

Alice was born February 29, 1924 in the Redfield district and attended school at Dominion school. After completing her grade 12 at the North Battleford Convent high school, she then attended Normal School and began teaching. After several years of attending summer school she then received her teaching diploma through the University of Saskatchewan. She taught school at various locations in the province before moving to Wetaskiwin, Alberta where she taught until her retirement. She then moved to North Battleford where she was a member of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church until her passing. As her health declined she moved to Caleb Village where she received some extra assistance but as her health further declined she then moved to Harwood Manor where she peacefully passed away at 101.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 28, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church in North Battleford. Officiated by Rt Rev Bohdan Demczuk. A Lunch will be held following the service in the Hall of the church with an interment at North Battleford Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
