It is with great sadness that the family of Dorothy Marie Leibel announces her passing on November 12, 2025 at the age of 89 years.

Dorothy will be remembered and lovingly missed by her children:

Daughter, Diane Schlosser; grandsons: Zane Schlosser, Adam (Becky) Schlosser; great-grandson, Johnathan Schlosser;

Daughter, Shirley (Lorne) Glowa;

Son-in-law, Larry Roth; granddaughter, Ashley Roth;

Son, Garry (Karen Richard) Leibel;

Daughter, Lucille Paulow;

Daughter, Sharon (Rocky) Omelchenko; grandson, TJ Omelchenko.

She is predeceased by her father and mother, Jacob and Katherine Senger; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Peter and Agatha Leibel; husband, Louis Leibel; daughter, Elaine Roth; sons-in-law: Neil Schlosser, Don Paulow; grandson, Jesse Schlosser and many other relations, all whom she held close in her heart.

A Viewing will take place from 10:00 A.M. until the Mass of Christian Burial begins at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at St. Vital Roman Catholic Church 11-18^th Street East Battleford, SK. Luncheon and fellowship will follow at the St. Vital Church Hall with Interment to follow at the Town of Battleford Cemetery in Battleford, SK.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to ALL the caregivers and staff, who looked after our Mother at Battlefords Home Care, River Heights Lodge – Day Program, Rose Gill Lodge Retirement Home and Cut Knife Nursing Home. You provided the highest quality of care, love, kindness and dedication for our Mother in her later years.  We would like to thank the staff of Eternal Memories for helping our family during our time of sorrow.  Also a special thank you to Tessa for her guidance and professionalism.

Dorothy was always a kind and thankful person, in her honor please do an act of kindness for someone in her memory.
