RCMP forensic unit investigating North Battleford property

The RCMP Forensic Identification Services conducting an investigation a home on the 900 block of 105 St. in North Battleford.

The property has been cordoned off since Friday morning.

The investigation is being led by the RCMP Major Crime Unit.

Police were not able to release more information at this time as the investigation is still active.

Several forensic team members clad in hazmat suits could be seen at the home searching at the property.

Battlefords RCMP Staff Sgt. Darcy Woolfitt said once the team completes their work at the site, possibly Sunday, more information will be released.

This investigation does not relate to a separate police presence on 106 St. Saturday.
