Royal Canadian Legion to Unveil Plaque

On Saturday June 8, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. sharp the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #9 will be unveiling a memorial plaque at the town of Battleford cemetery located on Highway #16 heading towards Lloydminster.

The plaque is dedicated to the Canadian military soldiers who lie in the town cemetery in unmarked graves. In attendance will be Legion members, Air Cadets, Legion of Riders, RCMP and dignitaries.

This ceremony is open to the public to attend and will last about half hour in duration. There is no public seating available. In case of severe inclement weather the ceremony may be delayed slightly.
