Suspect in custody in La Loche investigation

UPDATE: Rolfe Herman was arrested yesterday in La Loche. He appeared in court this morning, March 3.

La Loche RCMP is asking the public for help locating Rolfe Herman who is wanted on multiple charges.

The charges, which include assault with a weapon, uttering threats, and failing to comply with a probation order, stem from an investigation on Feb. 7.

The 35-year-old was also the suspect involved in a standoff with officers in a parking lot in North Battleford on Jan. 8, where he was tased.

Police say Herman is known to frequent the Saskatoon and North Battleford areas, but his current whereabouts are unknown.

Herman is approximately six feet two inches tall and weighs 190 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. His right shoulder has a skull and snake tattoo, and his right arm has a tribal art tattoo.
