North Stars add physical forward from La Ronge

The Battlefords North Stars have announced the acquisition of ’04-Saskatoon product and forward, Seth Dragan via trade from the La Ronge Ice Wolves in exchange for ‘04-forward Brett Boucher and ‘06-forward Ryder Dembo.

Standing at a massive 6’5, Dragan has spent the past two seasons with the Ice Wolves, playing in over 70 games. This season with La Ronge, he has put up four goals and six assists for 10 points in 26 games while being a big physical presence on the ice.

“Seth brings size, grit and experience. We felt that grit was something we need more of and are excited to welcome Seth to the team.” said North Stars Head Coach, Martin Smith.

Boucher came to Battlefords at the beginning of this season from the Fort McMurray Oil Barons of the AJHL and had three goals and 11 assists for 14 points in 23 games with the North Stars.
