Highway updates: Bare road in N.B. and M.L. ; Surrounding highways icy and partly snow-covered

Nov 29, 2024 | 11:19 AM

According to the latest report from Highway Hotline, North Battleford and Meadow Lake are experiencing bare road conditions. However, the highways surrounding these cities are partly covered in ice and snow, with some areas completely covered.

In the context of driving conditions, “covered” refers to situations where all four tires are on snow or ice. On the other hand, “bare” means that all vehicle wheels are on a clear surface, although some snow and ice may still be present.
