Keith is lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years Lucy, his son Robert (Donna) their family Kyle (Alyssa) children Payton & Kolton, Rachelle (Tyler) and son Arlo, Richard (Kim), Glen (Pam) daughter Allison (Matt). His sister Irene (Art), sisters-in-law Marie (Lawrence), Elaine (Dennis), Sal (Wayne) & numerous nieces and nephews. Keith attended Chicago Vocational School in Edmonton in 1955 for his welding diploma, which he put to good use on the farm. He enjoyed farming, horses and cattle. He was the community vet for friends and neighbors any time of day or night. He cleared a lot of winter roads, enjoyed lathe work and machinery, but his greatest joy was family get-togethers, hooking up the team and entering numerous parades and winning ribbons, winter family sleigh rides at Christmas with horse bells jingling driving the kids to the pond to skate. He also had numerous minor hockey teams come for end of season sleigh rides and hot dogs in the yard. He also enjoyed team roping with the 7+ boys and the threshing demonstrations at end of harvest with the team of horses and hay racks. Keith enjoyed farm life but always looked forward to the family coming over for festive meals, birthdays, anniversaries or any event. He loved them all – children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren with such joy and smiles.
According to Keith’s wishes, cremation will take place. There will be no memorial service at this time.
