Little Pines man arrested and charged with aggravated assault
A man from Little Pine First Nation was arrested by Cut Knife police on multiple weapons charges and a charge of aggravated assault and will appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on Wednesday.
It stems from a shooting in mid-August where Bradley Kahmahkotayo, 33, allegedly shot another man – who was later taken to hospital with serious injuries – and later fled in a vehicle.
He was charged with one count of aggravated assault, one count of uttering threats, one count, discharge firearm with intent, one count of careless use of a firearm, one count of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, one count of possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, one count, assault with weapon, one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and one count to fail to comply with undertaking.
