Nine people charged in Lloyd home invasion

There has been an update in the Lloydminster home invasion case from earlier this summer. The remaining four suspects are now facing charges of break and enter with intent.

In the early hours of June 11, police responded to a home invasion and found near 39 Street and 57 Avenue where two people were discovered with gunshot wounds.

All nine people involved were from several Saskatchewan and Alberta communities including Edmonton, Onion Lake, and Saskatoon Sweetgrass First Nation have been charged.

Four of the people involved are from Onion Lake.

In a press release, RCMP said a few have a September court date, are currently in custody and others are wanted by police.
