Two Saulteaux First Nation men are facing weapons charges.
The Battlefords Crime Reduction Team seized both real and phony firearms, ammunition, “drug trafficking evidence” for which both men appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court earlier Tuesday.
The first man was charged with possession of a firearm when knowing possession unauthorized, possession of a firearm contrary to order, four counts of unsafe storage of a firearm and possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition.
The second man was charged with four counts of possession of a firearm when knowing possession unauthorized, four counts of unsafe storage of a firearm and possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition.
