Two Edmonton men have been arrested in Lloydminster after a traffic stop found there were outstanding warrants against them.
Police also discovered a homemade shotgun and ammunition in the vehicle.
A 54-year-old and a 34-year-old have been charged on multiple counts – not all have been provided by police.
The charges include fail to comply with a release order, Possession of a prohibited weapon in a motor vehicle, Possession of a prohibited weapon when knowing possession was unauthorized, Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, Possession of a prohibited weapon with ammunition accessible and Possession of a weapon, contrary to a prohibition order
