P.A. residents protest for Palestine as war reaches six months
More than 100 Prince Albert residents participated in an organized protest for Palestine on Saturday afternoon.
Protesters lined the intersection of Marquis Road and 2nd Ave. W near McDonald’s in a show of support of the Palestinian people and the Gaza Strip as the Israel–Hamas war eclipsed the six-month mark on Sunday.
Participants were seen holding signs, waving Palestinian flags, and were heard chanting phrases as some passing traffic honked their horns in support.
