Two charged following firearms offences

Two men were arrested for carrying concealed firearms in the city Thursday afternoon.

Battlefords RCMP received a call shortly after 12:30 p.m. indicating there were a group of males walking on the 1400 block of 101 St. and one of the men had a firearm.

A 15-year-old and 31-year-old from Cut Knife were charged with numerous firearms related offences and remanded into custody.

The investigation remains ongoing.
