A country music idol is returning to Saskatchewan in the new year.

Blake Shelton is bringing his Back to Honky TonKkTour to the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon on March 7, 2024, with special guests Dustin Lynch and Emily Ann Roberts.

“Blake Shelton is going to be an absolutely gargantuan concert,” said Grant Schute with Mornings on 1050 CJNB in North Battleford. “This guy has a library of songs that people sing along with…it’s going to be one heck of a concert.”

“Very excited to see Blake Shelton come to Saskatoon,” added Gabby Schukin with 105 CJVR in Melfort.

Shelton’s career has spanned more than two decades since his debut release Austin in 2001.

Since then, he has won 10 Country Music Association Awards, six ACM Awards, nine Grammy Nominations and has sold more than 10 million records worldwide and more than 20 number-one hits.

He was inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2010. He has also had a successful television career as a coach on the reality singing competition The Voice from 2011 to 2023.

Tickets for the big show go on sale on Oct. 27 at 10 a.m.
