RCMP investigating alleged shooting in Shoal Lake

Carrot River RCMP say they’re investigating a report of a firearm being discharged near a residence on the Shoal Lake Cree Nation.

The incident allegedly happened on Wednesday around 5:50 a.m.

At this time, police say there’s no increased risk to public safety and they don’t believe the incident was random.
