North Battleford author sharing his passion during Saskatchewan Book Week
A North Battleford author will once again give back to local readers in an event to wrap up Saskatchewan Book Week.
Born in North Battleford, Miguel Fenrich is a Sudanese-Canadian authour, photographer, and former journalist. He also owns the fiction publishing company, Supernova Press, for which he received a QEII Platinum Jubilee Medal.
On Friday night, Fenrich will be hosting a reading of his latest novel, What Lies in the Valley. The novel tells the story of a German immigrant and her family coming to Canada after fleeing a number of unfortunate events including the death of her grandparents and kidnapping of her brother.
This will be the second straight year Fenrich takes part in North Battleford’s Book Week celebrations and told battlefordsNOW he’s always grateful to represent his community.
