RCMP recover stolen vehicle in North Battleford, three people charged

Nearly 30 charges have been laid after RCMP recovered a stolen vehicle and a loaded gun in North Battleford last week.

On Sept. 28, the Battlefords Gang Task Force were patrolling the city when they found the vehicle, previously stolen from Warman, on St. Laurent Drive.

Four people were eventually arrested, and three have been charged with 29 total offences.

They include possession of a firearm without a license, careless use of a firearm, and possessing property obtained by crime.

Two of the accused will appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on Friday. The third will appear on Oct. 25.
