Believe it! Journey and TOTO are coming to Saskatchewan

Sep 25, 2023 | 12:37 PM

Hold on to that feeling of excitement because two of the biggest bands of the ’70s and ’80s are coming to Saskatchewan next year.

Diamond-selling rock band Journey announced they are bringing their 50th Anniversary Freedom Tour to the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon on March 10.

That’s not all; the Hall of Fame band will welcome TOTO on their tour. The American rock band has over three million streams on Spotify with classic hits like Rosanna and Africa.

“We are looking forward to hitting the road again with our very good friends TOTO,” said lead guitarist of Journey, Neal Schon.

“We are thrilled to have been asked to join our dear friends Journey on the road again,” added Steve Lukather of TOTO. “We had such a blast the last couple of tours across North America together. Great success and so much fun. It is truly one big happy family, and it is a great night of music.”

The Saskatoon show is one of only three Canadian dates announced for the 2024 tour with the band hitting Calgary and Edmonton before making their way to Saskatchewan.

Tickets for the shows at the SaskTel Centre go on sale on Sept. 29 at 10 a.m.
